Welcome to my Accessories Paradise

Dear my amazing bloggers and followers,

Are you one of those accessories lovers?

Personally, I always buy lots of accessories from the shopping stores such as Forever XXI, TOPSHOP also wide variety of places even the street market like Siam Square or Union Mall. Not only that I am attracted by its design but sometimes it can be other additional or extra items in completing my look also. In fact I have various accessories collected in a beautiful box which my mother has given to me. It used to be my mom's jewelry box, however, it has become my treasure chest named "Accessories Paradise

Actually, I have been called accessories crazed since I wear loads of rings maybe 3-4 pieces at a time, especially animal designed, skull or something really insanely big. I am not a brand passionate or collection follower, therefore no matter reasonable price or super costly one, it all depends on how that ring would match with my style. You can buy beautiful yet unique rings at the stores I've mentioned above and the price ranges from $8 to $11. But if you have a chance to walk around night market in Bangkok, Thailand, you might say "wow this is such a shopping paradise!" because you will be able to find many great pieces here including vintage, luxury and Korea/Hong Kong imported.

Oh well, what can I say...I just love it :)

So, what's your style? Let's share <3

Spring/Summer 2013 with Workshop Thailand

Spring/Summer 2013 "Workshop" edgy Thai fashion brand, blends together the classy sensation with fun attitude.

When Spring and Summer comes, some of your wardrobe might have to be filled with loads of wide variety vivid colors, isn't it? Personally, I am one of those girls who love spending money on colorful clothes especially during in season like this no matter if they would be Neon, pastel and etc. Thus, on Saturday, 13 April 2013, I had an opportunity not only to celebrate Songkran festival with my family and friends, but also enjoy shopping at Workshop store located at Siam Center too. And for those lovelies included my international readers who have no clue what the Workshop is, here let me tell you a bit about this funky yet stylish Thai based brand.

Over the past 5 years, Workshop is an originally Thai brand founded in 2008, has spread to 7 branches all over Thailand including Central Festival Pattaya Beach and Central Festival Phuket. This brand provides customers with a broad ranges of trendy items that the customers can mix&match in various options such as urban streetwear or vintage/retro look "We pride ourselves as a mass fashion and lifestyle brand for trendy people" says Workshop.

Now I am done with my speech, let see what Workshop's prepared for us to visit!

I stopped by at Siam Center's branch which is one of my favorite locations of all time because it is spacious enough to walk around even when it's crowded. Moreover, menswear and womenswear are clearly devided separately, thus it is quite convenient for both men and women to satisfue their pleasant moment under the expansive cozy store.

As I was walking around, it can be seen that this brand has obviously targeted the shoppers in many groups since there are lots of selections offered. For example, sweetly pink dress for girls who love to dress up in feminine look, or even classic black clothes for sexy chics. Likewise, Workshop furnishes its own store with diverse decoration components including accessories on the shelves. If you always boost up the looks with some kind of chic shades or super cool necklaces, here is the place you might not want to miss.

However, The Equinox's picks in this season is absolutely "NEON" items. And what I have picked are white sleeveless printed top and neon orange skirt. Or you can also pair my favorite neon tank-top with this chic boho pants.

Here are some other photos I've taken from Workshop store including accessories and menswear.

Food, Fashion and Gastro Bar

When I was in the realm of teenager life, I spent my life living in the dream of party dance floor, super fun games and blast house party. But now it seems like chilling at the bar with soft/easy listening jazz or any other catchy tunes is quite my favorite routine. And of course, food is one of the essential factors whether I will go that place or not. Even though I am a fashion blogger who loves updating trends and playing mix&match the clothes, I really really enjoy eating. When it comes to food selections, it can be seen that I am very concern about food quality. It doesn't mean that I do not eat cakes or chocolate truffles, instead I am a bit picky when opting what I am going to consume (To be honest I eat a lot, particularly anything with cheese and yummy sweets ;) sounds paradoxically but I always divide the food's proportion into 65% big dish, 20% vegetable and the rest is dessert)

Hence, let me introduce one of my sweetness yet stylish bar&restaurant "Hyde&Seek Gastro Bar" situated in the heart of Bangkok's downtown. It provides wide variety of foods and drinks even from American sensation to Asia cuisines. Actually, I have been to this place a couple of times and my all time favored is "Kurobuta Hamburger" with tasty banana juice and passion fruit cocktail yum!

And for those who love night out chilling, Hyde&Seek also offers special drinks and promotions depends on season and events. Good food, good music plus super good service, what's more can you ask for :)

However, according to such an insanely hot temperature in Bangkok, Thailand, I decided to pair "Chicago" printed crop-top with short denim and Aldo sneakers. Besides I also boosted up the look with my huge leopard clutch for more convenient yet trendy style.

Thank you Hyde&Seek for such a lovely meal :)

A Little Bit of Yong Thai Designer Story

Dear lovelies,

This week The Equinox Fashion still keeps finding more of those young gen designers in Bangkok, Thailand with a high hope of discovering their ideas, suggestions also attitudes toward fashion industry in this booming city. And here I have the latest interview which I may call it as "story" of a girl whose thesis collection is a representation of Andy Warhol in the style of The Velvet Underground

Who are you?
"When I was younger, people thought my passion was about fashion, runway trend, clothes but to be honest I didn't even know or recognize anything about fashion. I was just a girl who loves drawing and designing, that's all. However, my turning point was when I studied in the last grade in my high-school as I felt I didn't like studying Math&Science (which was my major subjects) because it wasn't who I am. So I made a decision to enroll in DPU or Dhurakij Pundit University and chose fashion design as my major"

Your style?
"I love updating fashion trend in wide variety of styles but I am not really trend follower when it comes to dressing up lol Personally, I love American street style maybe 80's to 90's which was mainly focusing on matching fashion and sportswear. It looks comfy and practically in real life"

Talk about your collection?
"Basically, my thesis collection is a "casual womenswear" which's designed for 20-28 years old metropolitan women. The main target aims for women who love participating in activities such as concert, cycling and etc. Their style represents folk/classic rock also 1960's fashion. This collection is really easy to mix&match especially for those unique punk rockers. If you love Rocker Noci, lead singer of The velvet underground 60's,you might interested in taking a look in my collection"

Inspiration?
"Of course, Andy Warhol! But my muse's Cara Delevingne

Fashion industry in Thailand?
"Nowadays, fashion is one of the topics people talk about because I think it is a part of our daily life. Everywhere is fashion even New York, London, Tokyo or Bangkok,Thailand. There are lots of fashion trends among those fashionistas, designers, fashion lovers and etc. Thus, I think it's quite competitive in Bangkok"

Plan for future?
"I want to work in fashion industry no matter if it will be about cosmetic, creative, design or magazine because I want to gain more working experience"

Miss Wiphada Yangngam

Well, that's all about my interview with this talented designer :) I really had a good time chitchatting with her even though, it was just a short time. At least I can share a part of fashion perspective from South East Asia that you might not know before. No matter where you live, fashion is such a powerful source which links us together :) So if any of you have something to share, please feel free to contact me right away :)

However, don't be a trend trap, be "style provokative"

Do something and create yourself.

Love

Hypnotized Spring/Summer Collection 2013

From the previous post "Hypnotized Me" which I talked about how checked print would be really on trend this season. Surprisingly, I had a great opportunity to go to Hypnotized Spring/ Summer Collection 2013 hosted by Central World on Tuesday, 27 March 2013. This was fantastic fashion event not because the same professional organizer but also trendy runway that showed what would be hot in this Spring/ Summer too. And of course, one of the A-list items is "Hypnotized" or those checked prints you may recall.

However, I did not wear my checked pants on that day, instead I picked vivid graphic printed top, navy American Apparel disco pants and black stripe bag. Even though the look wasn't matching with the event theme, my super colorful mix&match look still got along with this party anyway since when you are talking about Summer, one of girls' favorite selections might be Neon colors or something bright and fun :)
