I Think I was a man in my past life

Truth is I love street fashion, and another truth is I have no idea why I always end up with tomboyish look, especially this time which I toyed up kind of checked shirt that my dad bought me from Uniqlo (Thank you my dad for emphasizing my look with extra Manish style lol) And disco pants from American apparel with boots with special thank you for Wholesaleitonline who sent these boots straight to my home :)

Boots by Wholesaleitonline

At first I was thinking about wearing the shirt with shorts but it would be too simple so I tortured myself by paring disco pants. The reason why I use the word "torture" is because this shirt is pretty thick itself, and the pants are quite tight due to its disco style. Well girls can do anything right? lol However, I boosted up the look with "Nintendo" Gameboy necklace which i purchased in Manchester with the price of 15 pounds. I know it's pretty much overrated but compared to the chance that I would find this type of accessory which reminds me of my childhood, then i would suggest to spend money on it because it's worth (for me) also it's "rare"

Featured on UK street media, floral crown and 2013 wrap up

Featured in Chic to Street http://chictostreet.wordpress.com/2013/12/27/street-style-gail/
Forget about brands collaboration or product review or whatsoever because this post is all about 2013 (brief) wrap!

First of all, I just checked email a few hours ago and it put a smile on my face since I received an email from Anna F (contributor of Chic to Street) that my interview has been published on the website. I think it is one of the last( but not least) media/press I have been featured in 2013. And I am so happy about it because this interview is not just about what I wear, which brand is my fav but it's about "STYLE" as I stated during the interview

“Never be shy about expressing your own style. No one wants to be like others, so find a style that makes you feel confident and show it”

You guys can read more about my interview at Chic to street as the link has been mentioned above. And thank you so much Anna, I love you xxx

Floral crown is one of my most favourite of this year. Besides, I have been thinking about ordering "B&W" colours. Because it might suit with my look and style more for the upcoming looks. And for my hair, i bleached three times until I got that colour..you know Asian hair is so extremely dark.. lol oh dear

I bought two pair of neon fringe earrings, one for me and one for sell. So I am putting this on sale at ebay.co.uk at the moment. Moreover, this sequin top for party has never been worn by me. You can check the price and see if you like it at http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171200563848 or send an email to me (paweerata.p@gmail.com) if you are my readers, thus i can give you extra discount. And shipping worldwide :)

Two of my most favourite rings or so called weapon lol Trust me i accidentally scratched on my skin and it was like ouch!

My upcoming collaboration for January 2014! Stay tuned!

YES!!!! macaroon!!!!!!!! I love it <3

Mother of The Bride Dresses 2014 by "Dressv"

Christmas is coming up, festive season is just around the corner. Which dress to wear? Which dress is good for my style? These are some of the questions I normally hear in this month.

In this post, The Equinox Fashion has been introduced by "Dressv" Wedding apparel online shop in order to be my guest post in this December. I have come across wide variety of dresses by Dressv and not only they provide such a beautiful gown for brides but also offer trendy products for global buyers too. "It's not just about the dress but it's bridal fashion" Dressv has divided its designs into different collections such as Mother of the bride dresses 2014, Flower girl dresses, Bridesmaid dress and etc. However, what I have experienced with Dressv is its high-quality materials together with their professional dress maker team. Of course, who wouldn't want to look great in a very big moment of life?

"All the dress we are selling are made from top quality materials and go through rigorous inspection. We have an Elite team with professional skills and unlimited creativity in dressmaking" said Dressv.

A broad range of wedding dresses in this 2014 is truly amazing and I just can't wait to show you guys all of my selections for this upcoming year! Therefore, I have opted a few pieces of the very first preferable choices named as "Mother of the bride dresses 2014" to be the first collaborate guest post with Dressv. (I have saved those stunning gowns for the brides in the next month;))

Personally, I love LBD or Little Black Dress, so my choices for this month are dresses in "Black&Blue" colours. Because I just want a brand new choice for those who are seeking for something chic yet elegant to wear for this upcoming season. Besides, black+lace+proper high heels = sexy high class look indeed.

Balance of happiness X L.A.R.K

"Happiness is a great balance of emotional control and the understanding of reality in nature"

Yes who wouldn't want to be happy!? I always keep myself in a positive mood by blogging, finding inspirations and talking about future plan with people and friends. I just love being comfy around people who have the same thoughts and ideas about life because it is fun to listen to the conversation, as well as, learn from their experiences. Open your mind and learn something new is what I have learnt from reading a book written by Jack Canfield, one of my greatest teachers and inspiration of all time.

However, another super happiness is collaborating with brands and designers, especially this time I have such a great opportunities to collaborate in a scarf project with Malaysian designer from "L.A.R.K" Handmade, limited run bags and scarves right from the studio of Ching. Personally, I love handmade clothes and accessories since they are quite unique and special. Just think about if you have to do some DIY products to the one you love, then it would be more meaning than just purchasing from the stores, isn't it. Anyway, it's really rare for me to do those type of handicraft (except painting or card making) because I'm not born in this way lol So I really adore those talented bloggers and people out there who make their own "Do It Yourself" because they are awesome!

"Ching" known as the designer of L.A.R.K is very special to me indeed because collaboration this time is not just sending items to me, feature on blog and done but "it's a new relationship between blogger and brand" We still keep in touch and send email to each other, also suggest about how we can we present the product in a better way. Like I mentioned above that learning from other person is good ;) Therefore Ching had provided me link of the brand's website in order to choose one of my favourite goods from L.A.R.K (http://shoplark.com/) And obviously my preferable scarf must be one of the most colourful with asymmetric printed! Because it reminds me of happy Summer coming in the next year!

Now let's get to know more about L.A.R.K and its designer, shall we?

1) Can you tell me a bit background, as well as, designers of the brand?

Sure! L.A.R.K started out as a hobby... I've always loved making things with my hands since I was young, so the idea of having a handmade brand always felt very natural, like it was my calling. I design every item on my own, and sew all the bags and jewelry in my home studio.

2) What's your inspiration when designing scarf?

Scarves are amazing, versatile things! So many ways to tie them, and so many ways to style them, so FUN. In that way, I feel that the colours and the designs of scarves should be fun. I hate being too serious in life, and I suppose that reflects in our scarves-- they're made for people who enjoy life, big smiles, and aren't afraid make different, bold choices in life.

3) What's the plan for future growth for the brand itself?
L.A.R.K has achieved milestones beyond what I had imagined when I first began, like being on the pages of British Vogue, being invited to host a giveaway with Frankie, and being selected as one of the creators to represent my country Malaysia in an exhibition showcasing the creative cities of Asia Pacific. But what really, REALLY keeps me going are the personal emails and messages that I get from people who own their own piece of L.A.R.K in different parts of the world-- those moments are precious... so the plan for the future is to have a piece of L.A.R.K belonging to a proud owner in every country of the world.
4) Who's the targeted customers of the brand?

L.A.R.K is not made for everyone. I think our hang tags that we send out with every order explains it best: L.A.R.K bags and accessories are not mass produced, and not for everyone. We are made for courageous dreamers, fun company, and the freshest talent. If that sounds like you, maybe we're made for each other.

5) What does L.A.R.K stand for?

Life's A Real Kaleidoscope. I believe that life is ever-changing, just like looking through a kaleidoscope... and change can be beautiful, so let's not be afraid of it. Let's enjoy it!

Much love

Thank you so much ขอบคุณคะ

Road of "The Equinox Fashion"

Featured in MYTRND.com

Some people might have a negative attitude towards bloggers that this KIND OF JOB is ridiculous, why girls do that for? Why they have to dress and post on blog? And so what???

Despite the fact that some think that fashion blogger is just a hobby or something fun, for me it is my "passion"

I have been a founder, as well as fashion editor for The Equinox Fashion blog for about two years already and I can see lots of opportunity to grow in the future. People ask me a broad range of questions HOW I am going to make it but because of "trust" which makes me sitting here and sharing my road of success to you guys. Believe me nothing comes very easily yet you can do it if you put much effort in it.

I have started my blog when I was 22 years old, yes two years ago when I just resigned from being a content writer for German e-commerce company. However, I still had no idea what to do after, so I had decided to apply for being a freelance writer for online fashion magazine called "Fashion Studio Magazine" and yes I got the job. I had been a fashion assistance for magazine's founder for three months until I quited again (yes again) Just think about it 22 years old girl with a few working experience in fashion industry "What am I going to do with my life.." That's what I had asked myself for a while. Then I founded out about blogging stuff. I just surfed through the online sphere how people start or make it success with their blogs. So I have made up my mind to create my blog named as "The Equinox Fashion"

At first, I really had no clue what to do with blog, what to post, how to reach people and how to start!? Everything takes time and so do I. I remember posting about Kurt Cobain and fashion identity at the very first post then about circus inspiration fashion and etc. I wasn't that confident to post my own style or outfit of the day since I thought I wasn't pretty enough. However, I gave it a try by posting the look with my favourite street fashion item and it's started to reach people more than those posts with fashion runway or season trend. Hence, I have been sharing my street style looks and clinging to that all of the time.

But how can I have the collaborations with brands and press? I've initiated by calling those brands myself. The reason why I called them because I wanted to do a store review and that's it. I'd done the review brands by brands, also updated my outfit of the day posts and Lookbook.nu at the same time. Just keep doing that to reach more traffic and get to know other people too. Reading every comment, replying back as much as i can since I feel grateful that they visit my blog, so I need to make some interactions not just leave those comments to be just a comment (if you know what i mean) My life's totally changed on September since I decided to send a resume to participate in London Fashion Week 2013 in London, and I was accepted so what I was waiting for!? "When the opportunity is right in front of you, just take it and take it now!" During my time in London, I also tried to reach more brands including local and international designers. And the more you do, the more you can make it. Therefore, I have received good feedback from them together with 8 brands collaborations in only two months.

It's not easy but it's not that hard to take it seriously too. Just remember to have your own "voice" and don't let the brands or people consume you. You need to be yourself, that's how you make the blog successful.

Hope it can be some sort of inspiration to you guys :)

Kimono Trousers x Alice's Pig

Kimono or Japanese traditional fashion style has become very interesting among designers all over the world. Because of its unique inspires many designers to design something for the real versatility in everyday life. And of course I have come across the brand originally from Brixton which makes me fall in love with the kimono fashion even more. And of course this look provided me with "Kimono" Trousers by Alice's Pig.

I felt really happy when I got a contact from designer from Alice's Pig to choose one of my favourite item in their website "http://www.alicespig.com" And I gotta say that "I love them all" since their designs are really chic and modern yet combined with the adaptability function. The reason why I chose this kimono selection because I want to have the look with something that I haven't had yet. Dress's already been posted, two pieces suit's already been done, so why not this Kimono trousers!?

Therefore, I toy the trousers with my preferable tank-top "Simpsons" from H&M, however, I have to tell you that this top was provided at H&M's "MEN SECTION" that's why I love wandering around men's section more than women so as I can have a look at wide variety of cool clothes.
